Create a world of your own with your own rules. It starts includes gray for common items, green for uncommon items, blue for rare items, purple for epic items, orange for legendary items, and gold for mythical items. These cosmetics are often varients of popular fortnite characters, though the series contains a few unique characters as well. Here are the top 10 sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite. If you see a player wearing any of these, it might be best to avoid them at all costs.
It’s time for another installment of Fortnite Intel’s annual top 10 sweatiest cosmetics. Last year, we ranked the customizable superhero skin as the sweatiest skin, but does it still hold up?
As most players know, a Fortnite sweat isn’t only distinguishable by their skin. Their pickaxe and back bling also tell a story, which is why we opened this list to include additional sweaty Fortnite cosmetics.
As we said, a lot of the skins from last year are still drenched in sweat, and you’ll see a lot of them on this list. Here are the top 10 sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite.
Renegade Raider
This might be a shock to see at number 10 on our list, but Renegade Raider doesn’t carry the weight it use to. If you see one in-game, you’re in for a pretty hard fight. However, seeing one is few and far between.
Owning Renegade Raider is a badge of honor and a symbol that you’ve been in the game for a long while. But you’re probably more likely to get struck by lightning than to see a Renegade Raider in Fortnite.
Recon Expert
In our first article, we listed the “OG Skins” as some of the sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite. Let’s be real. A lot of the sweatiest players today weren’t playing when Renegade Raider and Black Knight were available. However, the “recent” release of a certain OG Skin has a lot of sweaty players pretending they were playing in 2017.

The Recon Expert was a rare skin, but new sweats were given the opportunity to purchase it after its re-release. Unlike Ghoul Trooper or Skull Trooper, OG owners weren’t given an exclusive style. Now, it’s impossible to discern an OG sweat from a wannabe.
NBA Skins
Another sports skin has been added since last year’s list, and it’s the set of customizable basketball players. During last year’s NBA crossover, players could purchase eight different basketball skins which are all extremely customizable.
Not only can players make their own jerseys, but they can also rep their favorite sports team. And of course, female skins are preferred due to their smaller visual profile.
Studded Axe
The Studded Axe is one of the sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite due to its competitive advantage. This bad boy barely makes a sound when it’s harvesting mats, and its sleek design makes it harder to see.
It’s also in the Item Shop quite frequently, so wannabe pro-players have the opportunity to purchase it every month or so. There are other axes that are just as quiet but harder to obtain. That’s why you’ll run into a lot of sweaty players running the Studded Axe
Sparkplug
Sparkplug, like a lot of skins on this list, is the skin of a Creative Warrior. It’s not as common as some of the others on the list, but it’s sweaty, nonetheless.

In my experience, a Sparkplug skin is often the real deal. You have a lot of pretenders wearing Soccer skins and Star Wands, but Sparkplug skins are killers; more often than not.
Aura
Aura was one of those skins that you knew would be ‘sweaty,’ and it didn’t disappoint. For some reason, Aura became the primary skin of several pro-Fortnite players and sweats across the world.
Why is this skin so sweaty? It’s hard to tell. All we know is that an Aura either means business or thinks that they’re better than they are.
Soccer Skins
Soccer skins have been and likely always will be near the top of this list. These are iconic skins for sweaty players. Mainly younger players who had to coax their parents into buying them V-Bucks so they could buy their own customizable skin.

They aren’t nearly as popular now as many other skins on this list. That being said, you know you’re in for a fight if you see one. A sweat who continues to wear their soccer skin probably spends more time in creative courses than the actual game, and they are ready to taste blood
Star Wand
The Star Wand is by far the sweatiest pickaxe in Fortnite. Why? We have no idea. A handful of pros use it. It makes minimal noise when swung. But it isn’t all that rare. Seeing it in-game is infuriating because you know they’re going to kick your butt.
However, its sweatiness is undeniable. It’s a well-known meme in the Fortnite community that the Star Wand is used exclusively by sweats. Maybe players are hoping that the wand will be bugged again to deal 75 damage per swing. That likely won’t happen, but that won’t stop sweaty players from hoping
Superhero Skins
Our reigning champions have been dethroned. Mainly because the Superhero, or officially named Boundless, skin sets have been banned from competitive play entirely.

You’ll still get sweated on by fully white or fully black skins in casual lobbies, but comp players have been rid of the superhero menaces.
Scarlet Commander
Coming in at number one is actually our second sweatiest skin from last year. Plenty of competitive players still use this skin thanks to its dark color palette. Since a certain skin we just talked about has been banned from comp, players are looking for a new skin that will give them an advantage.
The Scarlet Commander is almost completely black with a few dark red accents and minimally exposed flesh. In dark areas and at night, Scarlet Commander is near invisible. Go ahead and open Twitch right now or during a tournament. I guarantee one of the top Fortnite streamers is currently using this skin.

So, there you have it: the ten sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite. It will be interesting to see which skins, pickaxes, back bling, and even gliders take over the throne over the course of the next year.
We’re sure that we missed a few cosmetics, as we only limited our list to ten. Let us know what we skipped on Twitter @FortniteINTEL.
