how to honk horn fortnite
Fortnite challenges are here once again, and this week the game wants to make you feel as awesome as possible. You’ll be earning 15k XP for each challenge you complete and this week you’re not faced with anything too difficult, they just require a bit of preparation. You’ll get to be a cool person who doesn’t look at explosions, a fishing master, and a reckless driver.
If you’re ready for a rollercoaster ride of challenges, we’ll tell you how to complete every single challenge in Chapter 3 Season 3 Week 8.
Fortnite has an odd approach to people getting it by cars. Rather than the unsettling and realistic splat that games like GTA employ, getting hit by a Fortnite car sends you flying into the air. What this means is that if you’re driving straight at someone, you’ve only got one shot to complete this challenge.
You’ve got to wait until you’re about to hit them and honk your horn. Press down on the D-pad, or right-click on the mouse to honk. This will unfortunately warn your prey that you’re coming, so make sure you don’t do it too early, or they’ll dodge.
If there’s one thing modern games love more than anything else, it’s unnecessary fishing minigames. Thankfully Fortnite is the simplest, as all you need to do is find a fishing pole and press the interact button on a fishing spot. To find a fishing spot, go to any large body of water and look for a bubbling spot.
You can fish up a surprisingly large array of fish, but you’ll occasionally find weapons. Once you’ve got lucky enough to fish up a gun, you’ve just got to kill someone with it. If you’re struggling with the last part, then try our Fortnite beginner’s guide.
It is often said that cool people don’t look at explosions, so get your hero moment with this challenge. Whatever method of explosive you use, you just have to make sure you’ve turned your back before the bang. This is a bit risky, especially if you’re in a firefight, but it’s worth it when the grenade goes off at the perfect moment.
The brutal Ripsaw Launcher is great for tearing through enemy defences, and that’s exactly what this challenge wants you to do. You’ll need to charge up your shot to full to have enough power for five structures. It’s unlikely you’ll find five structures in a row out in the wild, so you’ll probably have to set up the scenario yourself.
If you’re having trouble getting your hands on the weapon, then check out our guide on Ripsaw Launcher locations.
The above methods connect a ps4 controller to a windows 10 system. How to honk in forza horizon 5. It took me 2 days to find out how to turn off the radio.
Who doesn’t love dancing? That’s right, most people. As such, if you want other people to dance, you’re going to have to use a specialised grenade that forces them. Boogie Bombs are a rare item that you can find anywhere random loot drops, when you throw it at someone, they’ll be forced to dance for five seconds, or until they take damage. It works on allies too, so everyone can join the party.
Fish up a fish, then throw it back. You surely don’t need us to explain this one, do you?
This is an extremely cryptic challenge, as the game gives you no indication of where to look, but have you considered looking inside yourself? It turns out that the coolest player is…you. Yes, you, reading this. So find a mirror and stare into those beautiful blue/green/brown (delete as appropriate) eyes of yours to complete this challenge…in the game, standing in front of an actual mirror won’t earn you any Fortnite XP.
