Here Are All The (Excellent) Leaked Skins And Cosmetics Found In Fortnite's v5.30 Patch

There's a new patch in Fortnite: Battle Royale today, and it looks like we're finally moving on this whole "worlds collide" thing we were promised in Season 5. Tomato Town is Tomato Temple now: a sort of ancient Mesoamerican ruin from a tomato worshipping people thrust suddenly into the present. But that's not all we're getting here: as usual people are working hard to crack open the new update files to get hints at what's coming down the pike, and a big part of that is new skins. We've got some leaked skins, gliders, pickaxes and emotes to work with in the new v5.30 patch, and there are some excellent options this time. It's good news for a season that's been a little bit short so far. Credit goes to Fortnite Intel for collation.

Take note, this is for all the new upcoming store cosmetics. If you want to take a look at the Road Trip skin, head over to Paul Tassi's blog.

Armadillo/Scorpion: We'll get these out of the way so we can move on to some better skins. I'm not wild about any of the modern military stuff, though we assume that it sells well and this is why Epic keeps doing it. These two are clearly a kind of pair with the Sledgehammer skin from the battle pass, and tied in a loose way to the new desert biome.

Chopper/Backbone: Getting warmer, here. Two biker-themed skins fit the Fortnite aesthetic perfectly, and also work well with the concept of "Road Trip," even if the skin from that challenge seems to be going in a different direction. I'm liking Chopper's vest, in particular.

Musha/Hime: We're getting good here. This season has had a hint of a Japanese aesthetic from the beginning with Drift's Kitsune mask, but this indicates we're getting a little more serious about things. We've got two legit samurai skins now, and they're looking amazing. Not only are these going to sell like hotcakes, they'd work well with removable helmets if we ever see that implemented.

Cloaked Star/The Ace: Both of these look somehow tied to "The Enforcer," which is the just-revealed skin from the Road Trip challenge. Maybe this is a game of interdimensional time-hopping bruisers sent down to keep Drift and his happy go lucky pals in order? They're pretty slick regardless, particularly Ace's little white tie there.

Far Out Man/Dreamflower: Hippies count as time travel, right? Regardless, these are a couple of late 60s era flower children that we assume have lost any penchant for pacifism. Not the most threatening skins out there, but a nice look that works well with more colorful sides of Fortnite.

Ravage: It's the female Raven, and it's something. Raven is a little understated, but Ravage isn't afraid to strut. I'd expect this one to do very well, though mostly for the wings.

Sashimono/Shiro: Samurai-themed, clearly. The traditional Sashimono banner is the real prize here, though one worries that it could make you a little more visible at distance. Regardless, it's such a natural fit for the back bling idea that it's a wonder we haven't seen it before.

Road Flair/Road Ready: Our biker blings. I'm more of a fan of the red leather on Road Flair, though I tend to like my blings a little blingier, overall. Road Ready helps round out a more muted color palette, and might look sort of fun on one of the sillier skins.

Vintage/Slashed: At first I thought these were the hippie blings, but they've got their own below. Not sure what to make of these? They're sort of nice in a straightforward way, and would look good on Drift. I especially like the simplicity of Vintage.

Hip Shakers/Road Ready: There appears to be some confusion with the naming of the guitar bling, but it's great, regardless. These are our hippie blings, and I especially like the idea of strolling into battle with a six-string strapped to my back. This machine kills fascists, or at least eliminates opponents.

Swag Bag/Buckled: I've got these together because I think they go with Ace and Cloaked Star, but they're sort of generic, as well. If anything, the cash-filled Swag Bag looks like it would go well with the burglar skins from a little while ago.

Dark Wings/Ghost Portal: These are pretty cool, no doubt. Dark Wings is a great pair to those Cupid wings that are always flyingh around, and Ghost Portal is just over-the-top enough to go with Ravage. It's unclear what skin that will come with, however, because Ravage seems to have the Dark Wings.

Cat's Claw/Drumbeat/Controller/Throttle/Iron Beak: Some really excellent pickaxes in the mix that cover a good deal of territory. Cat's Claw is a nice, understated piece to go with the Samurai skins, whereas Iron Beak is an absolutely bonkers nightmare to go along with Ravage and the Raven. Drumbeat isn't bad either, though I'd rather a lollipop to go with my hippies.

Purrfect/Flappy/Tie-Die Flyer/Blaze: Nothing much to write home about here. Any one of these will complete the set for those that care deeply about perfectly coordinated outfits, but I tend to fall asleep if we're not changing the basic structure of the glider in some way. The samurai-themed Purrfect is the highlight here.

Artifact/Dark Feathers: We've got contrails in the shop now! And it's a good thing, because I'll be excited to have something to match my Raven skin. Lots of good potential here, and I can't imagine Epic has any problem opening up another angle for microtransactions. Artifact looks pretty well tied to PlayStation, so expect that as a PS+ package.

Capoeiro/Job Well Done/Fancy Feet/Shake it Up/Praise the Tomato/ Dance Therapy: A Capoeira emote is a no-brainer, and it will be fun to see that in action, and ditto for maracas. Some interesting notions in this bunch, but none of them perhaps so much as Praise the Tomato, which looks like a Dark Souls reference to me.
