More and more characters from shows, films or other games appear as skins in Fortnite. To help you not lose sight of the story behind all guests joining the battle royale, we'll keep you up to date. Our weekly series returns with a really nice collaboration between Epic Games and a sci-fi legend: RoboCop. RoboCop is a 1987 American science fiction film about a cyborg cop. Police officer Alex Murphy is brutally murdered during an operation and comes back to life thanks to an enhanced robotic body. As a nearly indestructible "RoboCop" he does the police service before he discovers his former identity and sets out to find his killers. However, the leader of the gang that controls parts of the underworld is in league with a corrupt vice president of the corporation that created RoboCop. Due to the depictions of violence, RoboCop's initial movie cut censored in order to obtain an acceptable theatrical rating for a broad release. The decision proved to be a correct one, as following the box office success of the initial production, two more sequels were made, as well as two animated series, a television series, and a miniseries. In 2014, a remake of RoboCop directed by José Padilha's remake RoboCop was released, but it lacked the nuance of the original, thus scrapping plans for subsequent sequels. That didn't damage the brand, however, as the popular titular character made its way to Fortnite in 2022. The RoboCop Skin was added as part of the Omni Consumer Products set Fortnite in Chapter 3, Season 2 with Patch 20.30 on May 14, 2022. It is available from time to time in the Fortnite item shop and can only be purchased here. You can purchase the RoboCop skin and back bling from the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. In addition, he is available in the RoboCop package with other cosmetics for 1,800 V-Bucks. RoboCop is part of the Omni Consumer Products set in Fortnite. This includes the following cosmetics: RoboCop joins the island's guards in the fight against evil! The RoboCop outfit includes the back bling LEG-209. There's also ED-209's leg, which is available separately as a pickaxe for 500 V-Bucks. Both are available in the RoboCop bundle and can be used as both pickaxes and back blings.
