Fortnite brought back Meowscles in Chapter 3 Season 3 as an island NPC. Players can talk to him as Midas and unlock some interesting dialogue that points to the anti-hero’s return.
It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that Midas is one of the most loved characters in the Fortnite lore. Even though he hasn’t appeared since Chapter 2 Season 3, none of the new characters like Dr. Slone and The Foundation have been able to replace him.
Now that former GHOST agent Meowscles is back on the island, we have new information regarding the return of Midas.
Midas never died according to the Fortnite lore
In the intro for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, loopers were shocked to see Midas being eaten by a shark. Interestingly, Meowscles was the one riding this shark.

Ever since, Midas hasn’t returned to Fortnite. His ‘Shadow’ version arrived during Fortnitemares in Chapter 2 Season 4 but naturally, it didn’t play a role in the primary storyline.
For years, loopers believed that Midas is dead. However, before the inception of Chapter 3, Donald Mustard himself confirmed that Midas is still alive and great. This is because it is impossible for characters to die inside the loop created by Fortnite’s Zero Point. They die but respawn just like all loopers.
In Chapter 3 Season 3, if players interact with Meowscles as Midas, he says:
“Whoa…Are we back online?”
Meowscles reaction proves that the return of Midas and eventually, Ghost and Shadow, is not a far-fetched idea. In fact, two Ghost and Shadow henchmen are already roaming around the island with the Elite Trespasser. The community recently saved them by breaking the DaDoor near Reality Falls.
Meowscles’ secret dialogue with characters in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3
Meowscles lives in a hut in Reality Falls in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. He usually coughs up a hairball while interacting with players but has special conversations with these characters:
- Kit– Has your mother updated your hydraulics?
- Lynx-…You look great
- Sabina– How’d the Chonkers job go.
Kit is Meowscles’ son and Lynx is theorized to be his wife (he has a heart tattoo of Lynx on his arm). On the other hand, Sabina is just a side character that the humanoid cat might be interested in.

All in all, the arrival of Meowscles has opened up the possibility of Midas’ return in Chapter 3. The storyline is currently revolving around the Reality Tree and there are a ton of mysteries for loopers to solve.

Players ranging from amateurs to sweats compete against each other to level up their skill and prove their mettle in the competitive community.
Newer pros emerge in every tournament who challenge these OG sweats and grab the victory royale right from their hands in neck-to-neck situations. Fortnite recently announced a bunch of tournaments for its player base ranging from Jewel Rush (Fives) to Money Wars (Solos), Whiplash (Duos), and Finest’s Realistic 2v2 Event. The rewards for the Test Event showed players who secure 1 point throughout the entire tournament will be rewarded with a whopping $2000 and 1000 V-Bucks in their Epic Account. Now even in the wildest of imaginations Epic would never reward the entire player base with such a hefty reward.
Upon seeing the news about this bug, the player base on Twitter went crazy and can only wish for this to be true. Moreover, they speculate that Epic will be removing these rewards and fixing the bug once v21.20 drops later tomorrow.

The war between the Imagined Order and The Seven in Fortnite had disastrous consequences including the expulsion of Klombo from the island. However, Haven is curious about the mysterious vanishing of the species.
Klombo is undoubtedly one of the most adorable features in the history of Fortnite. The giant dinosaurs roamed around the island on the new Chapter 3 island and provided players with loot, jump boosts, and countless memories.
However, we haven’t seen Klombo since Chapter 3 Season 2. Just like every other looper, Haven is worried about the dinosaurs and looks forward to their return.
What happened to Klombo in Fortnite?
Even though Klombo wasn’t present on the map during Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, loopers could still discover Klombo mounds. Accordingly, it seemed safe to assume that they were simply avoiding the war and will return soon.

There is a Klombo skeleton on the Chapter 3 Season 3 island which naturally shattered all expectations regarding their return. Having said that, anything and everything is possible in Fortnite, thanks to the Zero Point.
Here’s what Haven says when players interact with her while wearing special skins like Indiana Jones (to be released) and Mecha team leader:
- I followed some Klombo tracks here, but they disappear.
- The Klombo disappeared in the same strange flash of light that brought them here.
- Have you seen any Klombo on your travels?
It is evident that Haven cannot digest how Dr. Slone managed to get rid of Klombo. She believes that the unstable Zero Point is the real reason behind their extinction which is why she also mentions a ‘strange flash of light’.
Epic Games was working on Klombo before putting them in the vault
A few weeks back, leakers revealed that Epic Games is not done with Klombo. In fact, the developers have been trying to make the dinosaurs killable and make them drop a ton of great loot.
Another leak disclosed that Klombo will soon be able to dance when players emote near them. Hence, it makes no sense for Fortnite to work on a wide range of features and then remove them altogether.
Moreover, the majority of the Fortnite community absolutely loves Klombo and their return will be highly appreciated. Content in Chapter 3 has been based on the player base’s demands, and to be fair, permanently removing Klombo is not desirable at all.

For now, loopers cannot do much but wait for new information on Klombo. However, we can assure you that the dinosaurs will return in Chapter 3 with the help of Haven and Zero Point.

Fortnite Season 3 centers around the Zero Point blessing the island with colors and the mighty Reality Tree spreading its roots across the island. The bloom effect the roots create along several POIs further result in the return of classic locations from the Chapter 1 map.
The mystery behind the flora of the Reality Tree has been revolving across fan theories, leaks and concepts created by the Fortnite player-base. Loopers are having their share of fun with looting from their Reality Saplings and seeing the return of Chapter 1 locations merging with several current POIs as a result of the Reality Bloom effect.
To summarize, when the Reality Tree spreads its roots across the island and grows an extension of itself on a POI, it causes several realities to merge, which in turn merges a POI with another from another point in time. This phenomenon is coined as Reality Bloom effect by the player community.

In the past, players have seen the return of Temple Ruins, Coral Castle and now Neo Tilted in POIs like Logjam, Butter Barn etc. that have all undergone through the Reality Bloom effect. Latest leak shows two more locations that are about to undergo a major change as the roots of the Reality Tree have just begun to spread further.
Sleepy Sound and Condo Canyon are about to undergo the “Reality Bloom Effect” soon
Two major POIs known for its expansive architecture and loot pool, Condo Canyon and Sleepy Sound are under the radar of the Reality Tree next. The two locations will soon see the extensions of the roots of the mysterious tree and will get a Reality Bloom effect.
The effect would then bring POIs such as Tilted Town, Neo Tilted, Coral Castle, Coliseum and Lazy Links to the two locations currently on the map. These POIs are a combination of Chapter 1 & 2 locations whose realities are being merged by the Reality Tree.

Although the effect does bring back fan favorite locations back into the game without any explanation, some loopers speculate that the island might be in grave danger. The mysterious figure that appeared at the end of the Chapter 3 Season 3 trailer has not been seen before and is being called as Bloomwatcher by the player base.
Furthermore, there are theories that the Zero Point might already be causing chaos around the island and the Imagined Order was right to contain it along the Bridge. Now that it is free, the island is undergoing major changes and is running wilder than before.

The mystery of the Zero Point remains as loopers continue to enjoy their time in this madness caused by the chaotic Reality Blooms across their favorite POIs. All that the players ever wanted was the Chapter 1 map to return but it isn’t turning out the way it was supposed to be.
