Fortnite has had many Star Wars crossovers to the game in the past, but the main trio of the original trilogy has never been a part of it. Until now! Because Luke, Han and Leia could be coming to the island soon.
The Star Wars crossover dates back to 2019. An event called Fortnite x Star Wars started there in December, which was supposed to promote the film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. Within the crossover, the first Star Wars characters Finn, Rey and a Sith Trooper also came into play. There was even an exclusive lightsaber item that you could use to charge into battle.
Since then, many other characters from the franchise have made it into the game. However, the main trio of heroes from the original trilogy, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Leia Organa never came to the island. Until now. Because new leaks have boosted the rumor mill.
Fortnite Leaks: Luke Skywalker, Han and Leia Could Join The Island
The leaks are again from our good friend and professional leaker HYPEX. He writes:
Epic have some Star Wars challenges that give 30k XP each for this season, and accolades. They also added 2 "A New Hope" & "Return of the Jedi" Lightsabers for Luke Skywalker, so he's most likely releasing this season.

The crossover was already hinted at in the season's cinematic trailer, which appeared to show Luke in a bacta tank.

Luke Skywalker will join Fortnite's cast of Star Wars skins - most were tied to past Disney films or TV series. But that won't be the case this time, as there's nothing connecting this skin to Disney directly. I mean sure, they own the IP but you get what we're saying right? In any case, we are looking forward to Luke and it's safe to assume that he will not show up alone on the island, but together with Han or Leia, maybe both!
