A rundown of the secret challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale, regarding Kombo and Klomberries. These quests are not visible under the tab to view.
Fortnite Battle Royale has introduced some secret challenges for players who are avid explorers of the map to discover. These challenges are based around the beloved creature, the Klombo. Unfortunately, Klombo is nowhere to be seen in the newest season, so players may have just thought that the beast was just a one-time thing to hype up the new release of a season. Some players were quick to notice that the vines, that once grew Klomberries still remained dotted around the Fortnite map. This is something that made players curious as to why these berry plants remained, although Klombo didn't.
Within a few weeks of the new season, players were quick to notice the bright blue berries had made a return to the vines and were now available to collect and use as heals during games. At first, players may not have noticed a point in picking up these berries, but for those who did, they would have been able to discover that there is a whole new questline, which is not able to be seen under the quest tab. So far, there are two quests available to help build the storyline around the possible return of the Klombos.
These Fortnite quests have no guidance throughout, and players will not know if they have completed them until the final step has been taken for it to be marked as complete. These two quests will show up on the screen marked as 'secret.' This will be the only time that the quests will be able to be seen, as there is no tab under the quests section for them to be found.
The Two Secret Fortnite Klombo Quests
As these Fortnite quests are secretive, and not many players will know about them unless they have heard by word of mouth, players completing these quests should be able to do so hassle-free. Usually, when new quests come out, the areas involving them are packed full of players, but fortunately for Klombo fans, this time is a little different. The secret Klombo quests are as follows.
- Gather 10 Klomberries: Klomberry plants can be found all over the map, and each plant will give players berries if they choose to gather them. Five plants will need to have berries collected from them in order for the quest to be marked complete. The berries will grant ten shields or health, and they can be stacked up to 15.
- Visit Klombo-sized snow mounds: These snow mounds are essentially giant piles of snow with a small black hole, which is portrayed to be an entrance to the ground below. Players will have to find three snow mounds around the Fortnite Batlle Royale Map. These snow mounds can be found around the backside of the POI Logjam Lumberyard, as shown in the image above. Once all three of the mounds have been found, the quest will be marked as complete.
So far, these are the only two quests that have been placed into Fortnite Battle Royale surrounding Klombo. In the weeks to come, there may be more quests relating to the beast, which may start to clear up just what is going on with them. There is speculation that Klombo is being held hostage in a vault underground, but only time will tell what is yet to happen with Fortnite's plans for Klombo.
