More and more characters from series, movies, or other games have appeared as skins in Fortnite. To make sure you don't lose track of the story behind the characters, we'll keep you in the loop. Our weekly series returns with a lit collaboration between Epic Games and Silk Sonics: Anderson .Paak. Anderson .Paak came to the island together with Bruno Mars. Hopefully, you've heard of the latter before. But who is Paak? Well, basically, he's an American R&B singer, rapper, drummer, and music producer. He used to be known as Breezy Lovejoy and there were many ups and downs in his musical resume until his name changed. At the 2016 Soul Train Music Awards, Paak was finally nominated for Best New Artist in two categories. He won an award there and was featured in early 2020 on Eminem's album Music to Be Murdered By. Anderson .Paak was featured here on the song Lock It Up. Like many other songs on the album, it managed to briefly enter the Billboard Hot 100, making it .Paak's first placement on those charts. During the rest of the year, Anderson .Paak was noticed mainly as a guest musician on other artists' works and only released a few singles himself. In 2021, .Paak released the single Leave the Door Open together with Bruno Mars under the joint name Silk Sonic. It topped the charts in the Billboard Hot 100 and was .Paak's first number one hit and nominated for four 64th Grammys. So with that, the big breakthrough finally came. And on that note, Silk Sonic appeared in Fortnite! You can also hear .Paak on the brand new radio station in the game: Icon Radio! For the launch of the station, you can listen to Silk Sonic, Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak and the incredible Bootsy Collins as host! The Anderson .Paak Skin was added to Fortnite on February 11, 2022, as part of the Icons series in Chapter 3, Season 1 with Patch 19.20. It is available every now and then in Fortnite's item shop and can be purchased exclusively there. You can buy the Anderson .Paak skin in the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. The skin is also available within the Silk Sonic bundle with other cosmetics for 2,700 V-Bucks. Anderson .Paak is part of the Silk Sonic set in Fortnite. The following cosmetics are included in it: Entertainer and killer against his will. There is hardly anyone who does not know him, and now he is on the island of Fortnite! He also has four different styles! Just choose whether you want to run around the map in a chic shirt, blazer, fur jacket, or simply shirtless! Elegant showmaster from Silk Sonic.
