When starting out in a career, everyone needs a bit of luck or some backing. With that in mind, an organic social media campaign using LinkedIn banner ads has begun with the aim of promoting the work of young creatives and finding them projects or employment.
Devised by VMLY&R creative directors Christopher Joyce and Perle Arteta, the “Backing Banners” initiative asks advertising professionals and users of LinkedIn to use the banner on the top of their profiles to promote an ad from an initial list of six creatives/creative teams.
