‘Fortnite’ Is Surveying Future Crossovers: The Witcher, Ted Lasso, Final Fantasy, DBZ, JLo And More

This is my first concept, and to be honest it's not pretty, but since i haven't seen anyone do a demon slayer concept i decided to do it myself, and i just did these 2 because they're my favorite anime characters. After the fortnite chapter 2 season 7 event concluded, epic games posted the very first teaser image for fortnite season 8. At this point, there are only so many days in the year, and everyone seems down to be doing a Fortnite crossover. As such, Fortnite may have to start being more selective about which collaborations they pursue, and they’re sending out a bit of market research that may give us a glimpse at future potential collaborations.

From ShiinaBR, here’s a list of “gauge your interest” crossovers. This is not confirmation that any of these are happening, but I would imagine if they see interest spikes for any of these in particular, that may be something they end up pursuing. Some of these appear to be repeats of collaborations they’ve already done (Iron Man, She-Hulk, Venom) while others I do know are already in the works (secret!).

I’m going to transcribe the lists here, and have some thoughts about a few of them as I go down:

Musical Artists

• Jennifer Lopez – Would love to see both a JLo concert and skin. I imagine many of these would be in tandom with some sort of performance. They have left off the list here a collaboration I know is coming soon.

• Cardi B – Thinking about how wild this sort of in-game concert would look.
• Lil Durk – No Lil Nas X? That dude is tailor made for a Fortnite collab.

• Ed Sheeran – Nothing against Sheeran’s music but my guess is that this would not be a terrible well-selling skin.

• The Witcher – This one seems inevitable given the size of the franchise, and I’d expect to see it closer to when season 2 debuts on Netflix.

• Supernatural
• Scooby-Doo
• Ted Lasso – 11 more weeks until this season’s over, so they’d have to act relatively fast.
• The 100 – Don’t underestimate how intense the fandom for this show is, even if it’s done airing.
• Lost in Space
• Gotham
• How I Met Your Mother - What? No, no way.
• The Joy of Painting - Bob Ross skin? Absolutely.
• Star Wars: Clone Wars – Absolutely believe we’re getting an Ahsoka skin at some point.
• She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

• Berserk
• Dragon Ball Z – Dragon Ball Z is listed in a bunch of different places on this list, so would not be surprised to see that down the road.
• The Boys – Once they run out of Marvel and DC heroes, time to give us Homelander and The Deep.

• Star Trek – I actually thought they had teased this already for the alien season, but nothing has shown up yet.

• Uncharted – Could easily see a Nathan Drake skin coming in the future with the PlayStation collaborations they’ve already done

• Borderlands – They already did this with a Psycho, but I would love to see actual Vault Hunters make their way into the game.

• Yoshi/Yoshi’s Island – How exactly does this work? Is he a mount? Also interesting that only Yoshi is here but no Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, etc.

• Horizon Zero Dawn – They already did an Aloy skin, maybe new variants when Horizon Forbidden West hits?
• Paladins
• Among Us
• Final Fantasy – Probably would be one of the most popular skin pools to draw from, given the vast selection of characters they could use.
• Madden NFL – Not sure how this would be different than the NFL skins they already did?

• Majin Buu – Here’s DBZ popping up again, suspicious.

• Daredevil – Not sure why, but there are a bunch of superheroes on this list that have already appeared as skins. Maybe just new costumes for them?

• Charli D’Amelio – This whole list is sort of a “how old are you?” test, though even I recognize the TikTok D’Amelio sisters. TikTok and Fortnite have already done plenty of dance crossovers, so influencers from there seem like a logical next step.

So, those are the main choices. Wondering which of these will stand out, though my money is on Dragon Ball Z first and foremost.
