We have no more comments to make, if you're thinking something crude that's on you! However, there can be skins available via other methods, like the purchase of save the world, promotions, or quests. Gfinity esports is supported by.

Between the upcoming movie and Halloween season, now is the perfect time to add Resident Evil characters to Fortnite.

Capcom has already lent several Street Fighter characters to Fortnite, so it’s hardly surprising to see Resident Evil’s original protagonist duo of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine jump into the battle royale.

The timing may seem a bit odd at first, considering there’s no new game to promote (unless you count Resident Evil 4 VR, but Chris and Jill aren’t in that one).

But not only is it the Halloween season at the moment, with an interdimensional invasion from a zombie-like force, this Fortnite appearance could count as a promotional tie-in for the live action movie, which acts as a more faithful adaptation of the games compared to the Paul W. S. Anderson movies.

Long-time fans will be pleased to see Jill be depicted in her classic S.T.A.R.S. outfit from the original game, while Chris’ appearance seems to be based on Resident Evil 5, as he bears the logo for the BSAA, which he helped found after leaving S.T.A.R.S.

If these skins don’t float your boat, they both come with alternatives that hark back to previous games. Jill has her outfit from Resident Evil 3, more specifically the remake, whereas Chris can take on his appearance from the most recent entry, Resident Evil Village.

How do I unlock Chris and Jill in Fortnite?

Acquiring the two is super easy since there’s no challenge to complete. They are both available in the Fortnite store right now, alongside various other Resident Evil themed items.

Specifically, there are two pickaxes based on the stun rod item and the HOT DOGGER weapon from Resident Evil 3, and a brolly stroll emote that sees your character pop open an umbrella made to resemble the logo of the Umbrella Corporation.

Surprisingly, the umbrella isn’t its own item. Fortnite has various other umbrella items that act as gliders, so this seems like a real missed opportunity.

How much are the Chris and Jill Fortnite skins?

The skins cost 1,500 V-Bucks each but if you want to own both, you may as well shell out for the S.T.A.R.S. Team Bundle. Aside from both skins, it comes with two back blings based on the herbs (Resident Evil’s healing items) and typewriter (which acts as a save point in several games) and a new loading screen. Altogether that’s 2,100 V-Bucks, making it the cheaper and more lucrative option.

The stun rod and HOT DOGGER cost 800 V-Bucks each, and the brolly stroll emote costs 300 V-Bucks. Again, there is a bundle containing all three priced at 1,300 V-Bucks, which is 600 V-Bucks cheaper than buying them individually.

Fortnite is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
