While other gaming series have dabbled with television before, Epic Games have been notorious for this in their hugely popular battle royale series, especially in their Creator game mode.

With this in mind, players were wondering what collab would be next as there is always discussion and debate regarding what should be added by Epic.
But now, it appears that they may have answered those queries, with players being invited to board the infamous Tardis.

Fortnite x Doctor Who
Announced by the official Doctor Who Twitter account, players are now able to take on exciting new challenges in Fortnite Creative, with new missions and battles for players to take on.
Epic had support from BBC Studios to make this happen. Mat Way, their Global Director, believes this is a great chance to introduce Doctor Who to a wider audience.
Via DoctorWho.TV, he said: “Developing an island in Fortnite is new territory for Doctor Who and we’re excited to welcome the game’s established players into the Whoniverse. This is a great opportunity to introduce a gaming audience to Doctor Who and also for the existing community to experience a brand-new adventure. Players can expect a fast-paced, unpredictable journey with familiar friends and foes making appearances along the way.”
The Doctor Who Island will be available from Thursday 17th March and can be accessed for free by entering the following Island Code: 3610-1396-4646.
